More info: Affected users may observe that when they attempt to sign in, when this completes, they're returned back to the copilot.microsoft.com page, but are still not signed in. Users who have previously been signed in are able to access the service as expected.
Scope of impact: Any user attempting to sign into copilot.microsoft.com may be impacted.
Root cause: A recently deployed configuration change to the API for the Copilot chat service contains an issue that's causing errors when making calls to chat availability, which is resulting in impact.
Updates: The deployment is ongoing; however, it is taking longer than anticipated. Microsoft will provide an updated completion timeline when one becomes available.
